My father was Anishinabe from the Whiter Earth band. I was led to your site by a friend who sent me an article about "Who are the Elders?" I work with veterans at American Lake VA Hospital in a volunteer capacity, keeping the Warrior's Healing Circle. Yours is a great website, I expect to learn much here.

I am a Mikmaq, who now lives in Alberta, I really miss my people, the language and especially the "Songs", whenever I go, I am always asked to sing the Honour Song. I would really appreciate if anyone who reads this, could help me to get in touch with "The Sons of Membertou" or especially their music, I used to always listen to their music. Now that I have found this Website, I will keep you as one of my favorites. As I said earlier, I really miss my people. Thank You

I just signed your guestbook and left a message. It is really sad to see some of the other (advertising) messages in your guestbook!

Reply from Dan: We could not agree more! It is sad that our web space cannot be left in peace. I have taken steps to stop the flood of spam. Thanks for visiting our site.

I am only part Native American/Indigenous. I am of Choctaw, Cherokee and Sioux (along with white) ancestry. Learning of my heritage is all important to me. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It is an insight into another Nation I have learned about.

Excellent site, informative, nice looking, easy to browse and well put together. Probably one of the best sites on the Native web.
